Love in the Lowcountry: Mr. and Mrs. Howell

There is something truly special about a Charleston, South Carolina wedding. The history, the scenery, the marsh, water all around where every corner has a story. The new Mr. and Mrs. Howell had the perfect Charleston wedding. The couple had a traditional Catholic church wedding at St. Mary of the Annunciation. The church is stunning with large white columns, beautiful iron gates outside and all classic white to make for a clean and historic presence. The celebration and reception continued to Mt. Pleasant for a stunning Lowcountry scenery at Creek Club at Ion.

Every detail was captured throughout this wedding to really bring in the essence of Charleston down to the beautiful detailing inside the invitations of Rainbow Row. The couple had a classic trolley taking the wedding party from the church to the reception venue to get the party started. Again, such a classic Charleston look!

The reception venue was a stunning location in Mt. Pleasant. The venue made my job so easy offering stunning landscaping, mossy trees and views of the water. There was something around every corner to capture a timeless moment. There is always something romantic about the mossy oaks of Charleston. The couple had a fantastic crowd of family and friends throughout the entire night that made sure the day was full of celebration! As always, the Emerald Empire Band had the dance floor going the whole night. The food was fantastic, cake was simple and elegant created by Sweet Rhi located in Charleston. Throughout the day, all of the vendors were great to work with!

I truly enjoyed this experience. A Charleston, South Carolina wedding is always classic, elegant and timeless. The new Mr. and Mrs. Howell were such a joy to work with!

Additionally, I am looking forward to returning to work from maternity leave. I cannot wait to get back into the swing of things with all of my sweet couples for the end of 2024 and 2025 that are allowing me to capture their big day and keep ADP growing!
