Feels Like Summer: Maternity Shoot at Sunrise

Probably two of the purest things in the world to see: a glowing soon-to-be Mom and a beautiful beachfront sunrise. This week I captured these sweet expecting parents at Saint Helena Island for a stunning sunrise photoshoot. The sand, water, sunrise colors and airiness of the ocean itself made for a beautiful backdrop to capture these two and this milestone.

The simplicity of their outfit choice let the natural beauty of the couple as well as their beautiful surroundings shine in this session. It was a humbling experience watching them as 2 soon become 3 enjoy walking on the beach hand in hand listening to the waves crash and explore. (We got close to 5,000 steps this day taking it all in!)

It was such a fun morning with this couple chatting, taking in the scenery and just being present. There are certain things that make you feel at peace and being beside the ocean is definitely one of them. I hope their future has their little family of 3 playing on this very same beach soon!
