Mr. and Mrs. Smith: Garden Party anyone?

The new Mr. and Mrs. Smith set up the absolutely perfect day. I may be biased to this wedding as it took place at the Preston-Hampton Mansion in Downtown Columbia. This is such an epic piece of historical Downtown Columbia and the gardens make a perfect place for both ceremony and reception spot. I was able to capture the ENTIRE day with this sweet couple and their family and friends and can’t wait to share with you.

The details of this wedding were simple and sweet yet spectacular and elegant. I loved the colors, simple details, the bride’s amazing shoes and more!

This was such a fun group to spend the day with. The Bride and her sweet bridesmaids were so great to capture and did I mention the Father of the Bride? Priceless memories for a lifetime were happening all throughout the day and sometimes I still cannot believe I get to capture it.

The mansion has such a unique color to it but also the gardens are spectacular! It brings out such a vibrant feel in the heart of Downtown Columbia and makes it a perfect place to use creativity and become the wedding you want. The ceremony space was underneath the large oaks which every Southern girl knows is gorgeous and brings shade for a summer wedding! The ceremony was so heartfelt from the minute the Bride came into view to the announcement made as husband and wife.

Now that the ceremony was complete it was time to celebrate with family and friends! The vibe almost reminded me of a Great Gatsby Garden Party. Everyone loves those in the South, right? Fun cocktails, vibrant floral arrangements and fun music filled the air all night long.
